Description: Painted in 2020 when the George Floyd Protests started, as a twin cities native I felt like my home was burning when the riots were at their peak. I also felt very helpless, at the time I was just starting highschool and as a teenager I felt little power when injustices occurred. In this painting I expressed my emotions by smearing and splattering paint as well as utilizing handprints and glitter.
